splitDesigner's note: This pattern was originally named Chinook Hoodie for the chinook winds in western Canada. After learning that Chinook can also refer to the Chinook people, I was no longer comfortable with this name as it felt like it was culturally appropriative. Foehn winds are another name for Chinook winds, so the pattern is now named Foehn Hoodie.
